The food here is delicious. The carne asada burrito is flavorful and big. The menu is simple and has few items, but you won't be disappointed with any of the options. This is NOT restaurant style. It is pay at the counter, go to the back of the store and get your food. They have outdoor benches and picnic tables with umbrellas. The market itself sells Mexican items and candy.

The cooks were kind and friendly, but unfortunately I can't say the same about the woman at the register. Perhaps, it was not her day, month or even her year. This will be our go-to eatery whenever we are out here.

Did I mention they have fresh pinto beans you can add to your plate?!? Try their tasty salsas too.

My wife and I have been to this place a few times over the years. The food is tasty and very affordable. I would give this place a higher rating, but the customer service at the cashier register specifically is atrocious. I cannot believe they have the same woman at the register after all of this time. The handful of interactions we have had with her have been anything but pleasant. She is unwelcoming, clearly bored, and can't even answer a simple question without sounding annoyed (despite it being her job). Reading other reviews it's clear that we're not the only ones who think so.

The gentlemen at the back are very kind and friendly, and deserve to have someone better representing them to customers.

Awesome hole in the wall Hispanic food market. It's a Latin store with a kitchen in the back.

Authentic and very delicious. Cheap too!

Yup, the only place we'd frequent when in the area. This place is hidden. Tucked behind an apartment complex & literally just a door with a small signage. Landmarks are the red & yellow patio umbrellas out in the parking lot.

This is a grocery store that also makes Mexican food. Very small & family owned. They sell a whole lot of Latin groceries, a decent selection of Mexican candies, pan dulce, flavored juices & sodas, even different kinds of milky jello (fresa & horchata are my favorite). You order your food at the counter & pay first then you take your ticket to the back and hand it to the kitchen staff & they cook it for you. They have a full salsa bar complete with all the trimmings (cilantro, onions, pickled carrots, radish, limes) and a heated serving dish with grilled onions & chiles to top your tacos & quesadillas with.

Got their lengua quesadilla (tender & flavorful), tripas tacos, regular quesadilla & their elotes in a cup. The elotes are my favorite & it's only $2.50 for a decent sized cup. The quesadillas are $3 and with meat it's $4-5. There is a single row counter seating outside the market. They enclosed it & put heaters inside for seating. It's genius. Love the people working here. Definitely one of our go to places here.

Seriously i dont know what im gonna do if this place ever closes.

If you come to mammoth and dont know about the Latin market then you are truly missing out my friend.

Tucked away in the heart of mammoth the latin market never dissappoints. It doesnt matter if you dont come here for a year or a week its always going to be the same!!

Hard working family owned business that continues to put put amazingly delicious food!

Elotes is the bees knees and the chicken quesadilla is something you could get addicted to lol.
